Social media marketing
You can also promote your company website on social media. Every time you generate new content, whether it’s blog posts or new products, you should share links on your social media pages to help encourage followers to visit your website. You can also get non-followers to discover your site by promoting posts containing links to your website as well as using hashtags on sites like Twitter.
Website cross-promotion involves teaming up with another company in order to both promote one another’s sites. This could include using links to their website in your blog posts, promoting their website on social media and perhaps even helping to distribute business cards and flyers containing their website address. In exchange, they can do the same for you. When choosing a company to cross-promote with, make sure that their business is in a similar niche as yours but not a direct competitor (for example, if you own a plumbing business you could cross-promote with an electrical business).
You can also use your email signature to promote your website – this is a section at the bottom of each email containing your name, company logo and other personal details. Most email services allow you to set a signature in the settings. On top of displaying contact information, an email signature could help to make your company emails seem more professional.
