We all know that marketing is essential to getting your business to where you want it to be. You could have the best product idea or provide a killer service, but if nobody knows about it, then you have a problem. Because you need to have people interested in your idea or what you’re doing to be able to get anywhere with your business idea. And the best part is that you don’t have to be a marketing expert for this. You just need to be dedicated and willing to learn. If right now, you’re trying, but it’s not really getting you anywhere, that’s okay. Because it will happen. You do just need to make sure that you’re willing to try out new things to see what will actually work for you.
Because something will. There will be something there that really works out for you. And you just need to be testing different ideas to see what is going to pay off. Now, we’re going to assume that you have your business, your product or your service, and you’re using social media. But that’s it. Based on that assumption, you should find that the seven ideas below are going to give you something else to work with to start making waves. So consider the options, have fun, and see what kind of results you can start to get with your marketing.
Paid Social Media Promotions
So far, we’ve already established that you’re working with social media. But you may not be getting the kinds of results that you were hoping for. Organic marketing can be effective, but you have to be patient. It’s hard waiting for your audience to find you. So to amp that up, you’ll want to think about trying out paid social instead. With Facebook ads and Instagram for starters, you should find that your reach increases and you start to get the traffic or sales or following results you wanted.
While we’re on the topic of social media, you may also want to reach out to different influencers. Whether you realize it not, influencers really do have a huge impact on their audiences. So right now, it makes sense to team up with them on some advertorial style content. Working with influencers could be the exact kind of exciting campaigns that you need to really take things to the next level right now.
From here, there’s also the idea of video. If you’re not making any videos right now, you’ll want to change that. Video is interactive, and can be easy for your audience to consume. So you’ll want to make sure that you’re covering this off too. Think about the content, the sounds and hip hop beats to work with, and the editing styles you want to. Even bring in a team if you don’t want to learn this yourself.
Next, you should definitely be thinking about hosting events. You can do this online or offline, but if you manage to get your audience offline and have the option to interact with them, it can be a strong move. Because people like to put a face to a name, it can often help them to connect with you on a deeper level.
From here, there’s always advertising. Display retargeting can often prove to be an incredibly strong asset in your marketing toolbox. So think about working with different imagery and messaging to see if you can regain sales and pick up any lost traffic too.
And never underestimate email. It’s something that allows you to connect with your customers and market to them on your terms. You’re not at risk of the ‘platform’ changing like you are with social media. It’s also a way to get direct to the customer. So make sure that you create email campaigns as part of your basic marketing strategy too.
Finally, you may also need to really up your game when it comes to the branding. Sometimes, when you’re really pushing your marketing and you’re just not getting any traction, it’s going to be because your audience may not be connecting with you. Now, either that’s because that the content you’re putting out isn’t good enough (but we’ll hope not) – or it could be because your brand isn’t strong enough. If your audience can identify with your blog, you’ll always have an issue. So just make sure that you have a brand that really represents that your business does.
