The footer of your website often gets overlooked in your website strategy. However, it's valuable real estate that can help you keep visitors on your site longer and increase your conversion rates. Here are 3 tips you can implement to optimize your website footer:
Links to Important Pages
I always advise to only include 4 -6 page links in your main navigation menu. This is to make it absolutely clear what your users need to do when visiting your site. However, you should also include links in your footer to any other important pages like shipping policies, legal pages, etc that you may want users to have direct access to.
Brief Bio Section
Adding a short bio with your target keywords in the footer of your website is great for getting found in search engines. You’ll want to include info like your name, where you’re located, and what you do. You can also include links to your social media profiles.
Call To Action
The footer means the user has reached the end of the page. Don’t let them leave before taking a specific action such as joining your email list or clicking a button to visit another page of interest.

I link these companies and their products because of their quality and not because of the commission I receive from your purchases. The decision is yours, and whether or not you decide to buy something is completely up to you.
